Sebastian Pinot has gained experience in the area of public law for over 8 years. After spending several years in the Public Law / Project Financing Department of Linklaters, he joined the Parisian office of Bignon Lebray in February 2010 to strengthen their Public Law and Environmental law Departments.

His activity has particularly thrived in key practices such as:

• litigious and non-litigious matters in relation to public contracts (including public procurement and public-private partnerships), State aid, urban planning and the environment;
• advice on every aspect of public law and regulations associated to project financing, mergers and acquisitions / privatization, public sector financing and guarantees of the State and local governments.

His legal assistance was recently required to advise some of the following clients, namely:

• a group of companies in a tender procedure to be awarded a “PPP”;
• a foreign investor in the purchase of photovoltaic ground power system project;
• a foreign operator in setting up of a factory in France (regulatory advice, negotiations with industrial partners, administrative authorizations and government subsidies);
• a service provider in negotiating settlement agreements designed to end the difficulties encountered in implementing procurement contracts.
