Jérémie Boublil is a senior employment lawyer. He has extensive experience in all labour law related matters, and worked previously for prestigious French and international law firms.

Jérémie advises both French and foreign clients, notably on the following types of issues:

  • drafting employment contracts both for standard employees and key executives,  - negotiating out-of court settlement agreements,
  • advising on the recruitment of employees for short and indefinite term contracts
  • advice on termination of employees, individually and collectively, including relevant information and consultation procedures with employee representative institutions, works councils, unions, labour inspectorate,
  • representation of clients before French employment tribunals and appeal courts
  • advising in relation to the secondment of employees with a particular focus on the employment, social security and criminal law aspects,
  • drafting due diligence reports and providing advice regarding mergers and acquisitions, transfer of shares and sale of going concerns with a particular focus on works councils’ consultations, transfer of employees, transfer of profit sharing plans and savings plans, etc.
  • advising foreign companies on registration of French based employees (sole representatives), as well as for representative and branch offices in France,
  • reviewing and amending internal regulations and policies (e.g. whistleblowing issues),
  • preparing draft notes to the works council and advising companies in their relationships with works council’s members,
  • drafting profit sharing schemes and bonus plans
  • managing disputes before the industrial tribunal,
  • following up and regularizing the situation in case of control of the Labour Inspection, or of the social security authorities
  • drafting notes on working time, paid vacation, remuneration, non-compete, employee’s invention, status of officers having an employment contract in parallel, etc.,
  • drafting notes on the application of the French TUPE regulations in different scenarios,
  • drafting notes on criminal aspects of employment law (e.g. offences of undeclared employment, illegal supply of labour, obstruction of works councils’ proper working, etc.).
