Julien Lecat has held various positions over the years a corporate lawyer and risk manager in large international groups such as Schlumberger and Gemplus. Before joining Bignon Lebray, Julien Lecat was the legal director of the Operations department of Gemalto group, a leader in digital security and smart card solutions.

As a Judge, he chaired the 12th Chamber of the Commercial Court of Marseille since 2005, and was specifically in charge of maritime and transport litigations and as well as anticompetitive practices.

At Bignon Lebray, he will advise French and foreign clients in the following areas:

• The drafting of commercial contracts,
• Advice and litigation in corporate law,
• Maritime law, land and air transport,
• Advice and litigation relating to anticompetitive practices (cartels, abuse of dominant position) and restrictive practices (exclusive distribution, a sudden breach of established relationships).
