Bignon Lebray advises Distell Group on the sale of Bisquit Dubouché & Cie to Campari Group

Bignon Lebray has advised the South African Distell group as regards the sale of all the shares of Bisquit Dubouché to Campari, the Italian liquor group, for € 52.2 million.

Neil Robertson, Partner, and Louis Vallet, Lawyer, from Bignon Lebray Law Firm, have advised Distell Group on the sale of Bisquit Dubouché & Cie to Campari Group.

The transaction is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2018.

Bisquit Dubouché is the owner of Bisquit Cognac brand, headquartered in Cognac, France, which was founded in 1819 by Alexandre Bisquit.

Campari owns more than 50 brands, including Campari aperitif, Aperol, Skyy vodka and Glen Grant whisky.
