Bignon Lebray advises Turenne Groupe on its investment in Neo2 group

Edouard Waels, Partner, and Fanny Esnée, Lawyer, assisted Turenne Groupe in their acquisition of a stake in the capital of Neo2, the consulting firm.

Neo2 Group, reaching approximately €25m in sales, opened its capital to Turenne Group, following an informal process launched in the summer of 2020. For this capitalistic transaction, Turenne Group is deploying the strategy of its Emergence fund, through this new investment dedicated to growth companies operating in the B2B and digital services market. Selection & Opportunités, a new evergreen investment vehicle dedicated to Turenne Groupe’s private clients, is also involved in this transaction.

Néo2 is a consulting firm specializing in the process industry and engineering trades, founded in 2008 by Fabrice Lidy. This first capitalistic transaction will support the exponential growth of its activities and reorganize its capital around Fabrice Lidy, Victor Coen and its main executives, alongside Turenne Groupe, via its Emergence fund, lead of the transaction, and SLP Selection & Opportunités.

Neo2 Group is active in the energy, environment, food, chemical, health and infrastructure sectors. Over the years, Neo2 has developed expertise in engineering project management, process engineering, mechanical engineering and trades dedicated to industry 4.0.

As one of France’s leading private equity firms, Turenne Groupe has been supporting entrepreneurs for 20 years in their innovation, development and transfer projects. As an independent player, the group manages €1 billion as of June 30, 2020. Its teams of 65 professionals, including 49 investors, based in Paris, Lille (Nord Capital), Lyon, Marseille and Metz, support 260 business leaders in the sectors of healthcare, hotels, new technologies, distribution and innovative services.
