BIGNON LEBRAY has advised TDI in a capital raising transaction of € 1,200,000

Thierry Permezel and Laetitia Benoit from BIGNON LEBRAY law firm, have advised TDI (TRANSFERT DEVELOPPEMENT INFORMATIQUE), a Saas-based software publisher specializing in shipping logistics, as part of its € 1,200,000 capital raising transaction.

TDI has raised € 900,000 from financial investors advised by Thibault Ricome (Lexi3 firm / Guillaume Robert Avocats) after a round of meetings which brought together RAPME (FIP Ambition Regions 2, SIPAREX Group), the FRI (Fonds Régional Investissement Auvergne – Rhône-Alpes 1, SIPAREX Group), CRÉDIT AGRICOLE CRÉATION, EXPANSINVEST (Banque Populaire) and HUMANH, represented by Matthieu Ponson. The fund was supplemented by two bank loans amounting to € 300,000 subscribed from banks CIC and Banque Populaire.

Created in 1999 by Didier Guichard, TDI (Transfert Development Informatique) publishes and markets expert software solutions and web services in the shipping logistics sector. Its Software As A Service solutions allow companies to concentrate on their core business by avoiding the technical management of labels and Edi exchanges with carriers.

Its flagship product, Expedito, is used to edit package delivery labels according to the specifications of each carrier, track the shipment throughout its routing, send dispatch notices, notify alerts, check the conformity of the carriers’ invoicing, and control the transport budget. Expedito is used by companies (referred to as “shippers”), shipping more than 100 parcels / day or having an annual transport budget of more than 200 K €. It is also used by logisticians and e-merchants that want to optimize their internal logistics.

A pioneer in the shipping management market, TDI is recognized as an expert by supply chain management software publishers who advocate Expedito to their customers or integrate it directly into their software package to provide a complete solution to the logistics chain.

Leading the French market and recording annual growth of +29% in revenues (1.8 M€ in 2016), TDI has raised 1.2 M€ to accelerate its development. TDI intends to develop its Expedito software into a modular offering of 6 autonomous, functional and interoperable bricks, while intensifying its marketing and commercial development.
