BIGNON LEBRAY STRENGTHENS ITS MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS AND CORPORATE LAW PRACTICE WITH A NEW PARTNER
Bignon Lebray is pleased to announce the addition of Virginie Brault Scaillet as a Partner and Justine Langer as a Counsel in its highly reputed Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice, as from May 2nd 2024.
Virginie Brault-Scaillet advises industrial groups and French and foreign investment funds on mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions. She advises on restructuring, equity financing and joint ventures, as well as on corporate law issues . Virginie has extensive experience in organizing and coordinating complex and/or cross-border transactions.
Her areas of expertise include healthcare and life sciences, regulated professions, energy, media, hospitality, TMT and new technologies.
Virginie holds a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in International Business Law from Paris Descartes University. She obtained her CAPA in 2004 and was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2006. She began her career in 2005 in Franklin’s Corporate Finance – M&A department, before joining BCLP as Counsel in February 2020.
Justine Langer mainly advises companies and investment funds on their French and cross-border strategic transactions. She advises and assists them on all aspects of corporate law (fundraising, shareholders’ agreements, acquisitions/disposals of shares and business assets, employee and management profit-sharing, joint ventures, restructuring, etc.).
Justine Langer holds a Master 2 in French-English business law from Paris-XI, an LLM from Cardiff University and a certificate in business law and management from EDHEC. She obtained her CAPA in 2013.
