[COVID-19] Extension of the exceptional measures relating to shareholders meetings and corporate bodies

Decree no. 2020-925 of July 29, 2020 extends until November 30, 2020 the exceptional measures relating to shareholders’ meetings and meetings of the collective administrative, supervisory or management bodies of companies (in camera meetings, use of telephone or videoconferencing, written consultation).

In accordance with the provisions of Article 11 of the Ordinance no. 2020-321 of March 25, 2020 adapting the rules for meetings and deliberations of the meetings and governing bodies of legal entities and entities without legal personality under private law due to the covid-19 epidemic (cf. our article ” Ordinances of March 25, 2020: what consequences in corporate law?“), the decree extends the term of application of the said ordinance until November 30, 2020, as well as that of application decree no. 2020-418 of April 10 , 2020 adapting the rules for meetings and deliberations of the meetings and governing bodies of legal entities and entities without private law legal personality due to the covid-19 epidemic and decree no. 2020-629 of May 25,2020  relating to the functioning of the bodies of provident institutions and the joint guarantee fund provided for in Article L. 931-35 of the Social Security Code.
