Pierre-Emmanuel Scherrer joined Bignon Lebray’s office in Lyon in 2017 to develop our tax practice with regards to transactions, international taxation and long-term financing transactions.
He has notably developed an expertise in the field of securities transactions, asset deals, external growth, monetization of property assets, mergers, growth capital, issuance of composite securities, group restructurings and transfer pricing, intra-group flows optimization, holding regimes, taxation of intangible assets and fixed assets.
He also assists clients with tax audits and tax disputes.
Pierre-Emmanuel began his career as a tax lawyer in 1998 with Veil Jourde in Paris, before joining U.S. law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in 2006 and Fidal in 2009, where he practiced until 2017.
In 2024, Pierre-Emmanuel was referenced in the Private Equity sections of various leading legal guides, including Legal 500 EMEA and IFLR 1000.
Pierre-Emmnauel is recognised as a Best Lawyer 2025 in corporate law and tax law.
