Jean-Baptiste DUBRULLE, partner of BIGNON LEBRAY, appointed new President of the Lille Bar

Jean-Baptiste DUBRULLE, 41, has been a member of the Lille Bar since 2008. He obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Law and a Master’s degree in Planning and Coastal Law in 2001, as well as a Doctorate in public law in 2006.

Jean-Baptiste joined Bignon Lebray’s Public Law & Environment department in January 2009 and is now in charge of the Environment practice.

Partner since 2016, he has been active in urban planning, environment and law of local authorities and holds a specialization degree in public law with a specific qualification in urban planning. It assists local authorities, public institutions and operators of classified installations for the protection of the environment, both in the area of environmental law and urban planning.

His mandate will take effect on January 1, 2019, at the end of a period of “dauphinat” with Stéphane DHONTE (“Bâtonnier en exercice”) and will cover the years 2019 and 2020.

The President of the Bar represents the lawyers of his bar in all acts of civil life. He administers the Bar Association, and also regulates conflicts that lawyers encounter between themselves or with magistrates and clients. He is elected for two years by his peers.
