Jérémie BOUBLIL was elected to the Board of Directors of Meritas

Jérémie BOUBLIL to help set the alliance’s strategy throughout his three-year term

Jérémie BOUBLIL has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Meritas, a global alliance of independent business law firms. Jérémie BOUBLIL was elected to the position during the alliance’s recent annual meeting.

In his role as a Board member, Jérémie BOUBLIL will be responsible for reviewing and establishing policy and setting strategy for the alliance. Jérémie BOUBLIL will also act as an organizational leader, serving as a liaison to member firms on administrative issues. He will maintain contact with members, encourage and promote cross communications, and gather feedback on Meritas’ initiatives. Jérémie BOUBLIL will serve a three-year term, during which time he will also continue to serve on the Member Engagement committee. The Board of Directors of Meritas is comprised of 21 lawyers from its member firms around the world.

Jérémie BOUBLIL has been involved with Meritas for number of years, during which time he has served as member contact in Paris and member of the European Leadership Group.

Jérémie BOUBLIL is a partner of BIGNON LEBRAY specializing in employment law. He advises French and foreign clients in all areas of labor and social security law. He deals in particular with the implementation of individual and collective redundancy procedures (Employment Protection Plan) and specializes in the management of the social aspects of corporate restructuring operations as well as the issues related to staff representatives and employee savings plans (participation, incentive, PEE). Jérémie has been a member of the Bar of Paris since 2003. He holds a DESS-DJCE and a translation diploma (ISIT) in English and German (2000). He has previously worked in French and international law firms.
