Bignon Lebray advises Satys Aerospace on a strategic €81 million financing transaction

Satys Aerospace, a leading global player in aircraft painting and sealing, has announced the signing of a strategic financing transaction for a total amount of €81 million.

The transaction comes against a backdrop of strong momentum in the aerospace sector — including commercial aviation, defence and helicopters — and supports Satys Aerospace’s growth trajectory, driven by a 13% increase in activity over the first seven months of the financial year and a significant improvement in profitability.

Initiated by Satys Aerospace, the transaction is aimed in particular at reducing the cost of certain existing debt facilities, preparing for the repayment of government-backed loans and providing the Group with the financial resources required to support its next stages of development.

In addition to the refinancing of certain existing debt, the financing includes a dedicated investment facility and a short-term revolving credit facility (RCF). It was arranged with seven of Satys Aerospace’s existing banking partners — CIC, Crédit Agricole 31, Bpifrance, Société Générale, BNP Paribas, Banque Populaire Occitane and Caisse d’Épargne Midi-Pyrénées — joined by LCL.

The transaction will strengthen Satys Aerospace’s financial flexibility in an industrial environment marked by accelerating production rates and significant development ambitions, particularly in North America, Asia and Morocco.
