Whether you have to resort to or endure legal proceedings, our Litigation and Arbitration team can assist you with your national and international litigations, defining the most appropriate strategy best to defend your interests.

Our lawyers advise companies and their leaders, as well as public legal entities, with the strategic delineation of their litigations, right from the pre-litigation stage. Our Litigation team develops tailor-made strategies, taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of each case. They plead in the clients’ interests so as to obtain the most favourable decision possible, and assist them in fulfilling this objective.

Our team works in close collaboration with each department of the firm to represent its clients before all jurisdictions (civil, commercial, administrative, criminal), administrative authorities (French financial markets authority [AMF], in particular), and arbitration jurisdictions; it will do so whether in the first instance or appeal, and in all fields of private and public business law (e.g. corporate law, social law, commercial law, civil law, property law, tax law, construction law, environmental law, banking law, insurance law, insolvency proceedings, intellectual property/IT, transport law, business criminal law).

We are also trained in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and are committed to encouraging negotiated settlements.

They trust us

  • Procedure for insider dealing on LVL Medical securities before the Enforcement Committee of the AMF;
  • Assistance to Moldova’s Road Administration (litigation regarding the fulfilment of FIDIC [International Federation of Consulting Engineers] contracts for building roads);
  • Assisting a production plant before the ordinary courts of law (litigation regarding the delay in delivery and defects of delivered machines).

Good to know

  • Our firm further relies on a network of earnest partners, allowing us to be highly reactive (e.g. cases to be dealt with urgently, litigations to be carried out in France or abroad);
  • Our teams are able to solve litigations by use of alternative dispute resolution procedures (mediation, collaborative law);
  • The firm employs two former Presidents of the Bar (Thomas Buffin [2001-2002] and Bertrand Debosque [2007-2008]), and the current President of the Bar in Lille (Jean-Baptiste Dubrulle [2019-2020]).
