- Commercial Leases
We assist our clients with all stages of commercial leases, ranging from when they come into effect following their negotiation and drafting, to their execution and issues related to rent and service charge recovery (with or without recourse to a termination clause or to eviction), to breaches of contract, in particular as related to the obligation to deliver, provide quiet enjoyment, maintain and ensure compliance, and lastly, termination (whether court-ordered or mutually agreed-upon), renewal or transfer.
The firm also assists with legal proceedings involving rent on renewed or amended leases and eviction compensation set by the courts.
The firm’s experience encompasses all commercial leases (including office buildings, commercial centers, stores, agencies) and industrial leases (including logistics and specialised warehouses, workshops, etc.), as well as agreements to withdraw from the commercial lease regime (short-term leases, tenant-at-will agreements, etc.).
Our teams assist builders and developers with all their real estate transactions, from planning to completion. We work with other departments in the firm to provide our clients with comprehensive solutions. Our teams advise regional and national development companies on all transactional stages, from acquisition or transfer audits, to structuring the transaction and providing legal assistance with any potential issues, including disputes.

We provide assistance with all stages of real estate transactions, and in particular with the acquisition and transfer of real estate, including implementing the appropriate legal and tax structures. We work with notaries (who have a monopoly on real estate conveyancing and mortgages in France), on the acquisitions and sales of properties (including the putting in place of mortgages where acquisition financing is provided by third parties).
