Agri-Food

We have several departments within our firm which are heavily involved in the agri-food sector.

We have several departments within our firm which are heavily involved in the agri-food sector.

Whether it be food chemistry, the processing industry and trade in food products, or flavourings, our Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, Employment Law & Social Protection, Intellectual Property & Technologies, and Competition-Distribution departments regularly take action alongside entrepreneurs and businesses of the agri-food sector.

Our involvement is varied, ranging from assisting companies in negotiating and closing collective bargaining agreements, trademarking and managing brand portfolios, to supporting the known and lesser-known jewels of French savoir-faire in their reorganisation and external growth processes.

Additionally, Bignon Lebray has always been involved in the wine industry and has developed a true expertise in the Wine Law programme.

Thanks to their extensive knowledge of agricultural regulations (SAFER [land development and rural settlement companies], control of agricultural structures, appellation regulation) and the market, our lawyers are able to assist in cases of vineyard transfer, reorganisation of capital, and trademark and appellation protection in France and abroad.

The presence of the firm in China is a decisive advantage for French wineries looking for capital, as well as for Chinese investors attracted to the agri-food sector, in particular wines and spirits.
