Our legal AMO team is primarily involved in setting up and securing urban development and planning operations (e.g. tertiary, commercial, housing, commercial spaces and logistics operations).

We assist investors, planners, developers and contracting authorities in choosing suitable planning methods and operation set-up. We then work alongside architects, urban planners, surveyors and design offices to secure each step of the operation: audit of both development and building permits, validation of different types of projects (e.g. French commercial development commissions [CDAC/CNAC], environmental impact assessments, environmental authorisation cases, ERP). We also ensure that authorisations are cleared.

In the event of litigation, aside from defending authorisations which have already been granted, we devise suitable strategies to facilitate the procedures and, if needed, suggest regularisation options (e.g. amended building permits) to clear the authorisations of any claims and allow the project to proceed. To reach this goal, we act as representatives when communicating with solicitors and instructing services.

We complement our capacities with those of our Property Law and Tax Law departments (e.g. negotiation of lease agreements and tax-optimised real estate development, respectively), to offer our clients comprehensive expertise in the planning and development of their projects.
