Barbara Bertholet’s core practice is intellectual property. She devotes most of her activity to the world of life sciences and innovation.
She assists clients in their business development, whether pharmaceutical laboratories, manufacturers of medical devices, IVDDs, and cosmetic products, including biotech companies or healthcare professionals, and all new players in the e-health sector.
She advises entities of all sizes as regards the legal structuring of their projects and in defending their rights in three major utterly strategic areas, namely :
- innovation and its protection (assignment of rights on creations and innovations, licensing agreements, collaboration agreements and patent litigation),
- regulatory constraints (regulation of health products, health activities, regulatory qualification of products, marketing, market access, promotion and advertising, regulatory compliance of e-health projects)
- and the distribution of their products.
