Bignon Lebray supports Capital Croissance and its new long term vehicle, K2 Business Club, with €200 million
This first transaction is part of an OBO on Groupe SEGUIN.
Founded in 1976, Seguin is one of the French ETIs supported by investment funds. The Auvergne-based family group, which offers wood heating solutions, has also held discussions with three investors from the financial community. Finally, Capital Croissance was selected. It takes a minority stake through its new vehicle K2 Business Club, which operates in the low range of its tickets (between €15 and €50 million) for its first transaction. Endowed with €200 million since last May, the latter is a private equity program dedicated to supporting 5-6 ETIs in their long-term growth.
Thirteen family investors are among the subscribers. Aymeric de Galembert, chairman and son of the buyer of the structure in 1997 following the founder’s retirement, remains the main shareholder with a majority stake.
This first leveraged operation allows the exit of several family shareholders. Senior debt was raised with Crédit Agricole CIB as agent and Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Mutuel Centre France as arranger. A capex line was structured in order to finance future acquisitions.
